Background

Beth trained in Craniosacral Therapy to an advanced level at the highly regarded Upledger Institute and has been in private practice since 2017. She is continuously awed and delighted by the way this gentle therapy can touch people so deeply.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in her many years of body awareness and meditation practices, and she brings the deep and healing conscious focus that she has learned from these to her craniosacral work. She also draws on her experience of working with patients and their families at St Columba's Hospice.

Craniosacral Therapy uses a light touch that connects deeply and directly with the body's physical structures and assists and enhances its natural fluid flows and rhythms. Because it offers support throughout the body wherever it is needed, there are many conditions, both physical and emotional, which this therapy can potentially help with, from headaches, jaw issues and back pain to insomnia and anxiety. It can be particularly effective in calming the nervous system. Beth offers specialised techniques, including SomatoEmotional Release, to help release trauma held in the body tissues and delicate mouthwork for facial and dental issues.

What clients have said: "I would recommend Beth and her practice to anyone in the highest of terms." "A compassionate and respectful practitioner who provides treatments that feel gentle but are incredibly powerful."
