Chinese Massage (Tui Na)

Tui Na, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a deep, rhythmic, relaxing and invigorating form of bodywork. Tui na utilises a diverse range of intense and deep hand techniques to massage the muscles, energy pathways and acupoints, to loosen stiffness, relax muscles and encourage the rebalance and free flow of Qi energy within the body. Tui na can be carried out either lying down or sitting in a chair, and is normally applied over loose cotton clothing, but at times can be applied directly onto the skin. The practitioner tailors the pressure and intensity, and can combine the session with oil based Indonesian massage and Reiki.

Indonesian Massage

Indonesian massage is an ancient, oil-based massage where deep pushing and long, slow kneading techniques work to relax the muscles. Indonesian massage, similarly to Chinese massage, also works on the energy channels and acupuncture points of the body, to help rebalance energy. It is a deep, relaxing tissue massage. The practitioner can also combine the session with Chinese massage and Reiki.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy operates on the principle that many of our behaviours, emotions, beliefs, habits and thought patterns are governed at a deeper part of the mind.

Sometimes when we want to make changes in our life - whether it’s cutting down on unhealthy eating, staying calm during a presentation, or when facing fears, for some reason, these changes can be difficult to achieve. This is where clinical hypnotherapy can help. Hypnotherapy use a natural state of focused attention to access this deeper, powerful, adaptive part of the mind.

Hypnotherapy is a versatile therapeutic technique to promote healing and positive change. Using the most advanced change techniques and tools to reframe limiting beliefs, unlearn habituated patterns, and adopt healthier ways of thinking and behaving. Hypnotherapy works like a software update, rewriting old outdated or unhelpful programmes to meet your current or desired goals.

It can help overcome challenges and lead to more fulfilling lives, provide relief from stress, anxiety and insomnia. Hypnotherapy can also provide ways to break unwanted habits or fears, lose weight or stop smoking, as well as exploring ways to improve your overall confidence, performance, goals and well-being.

Normally, initial consultations are 90 minutes and follow-up consultations are 60-90 minutes. Hypnotherapy sessions may also include neurolinguistic programming (NLP) techniques, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), EFT, and Mindfulness.
