Neurolinguistic Programming

Neuro Linguistic Programming studies, and effectively works with, how people hold their realities in place and how they structure their internal experiences. It is often described as the ‘software manual’ for your brain.
The NLP techniques and strategies offer a wide range of approaches that work on your mental processes and communication skills so that they can literally be applied to any context. NLP aims to help you change limiting beliefs and effectively transform and improve the way you think, feel, act and live.
For maximum efficacy, the techniques are often used in combination with hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotional freedom technique (EFT), life coaching and nutritional therapy.

What to expect from a Neurolinguistic Programming session

Initial consultations are 90 minutes and follow-ups last 60 minutes. The sessions are seated, but you may be asked to stand or make small, simple movements in order to follow the techniques. For example, you may be asked to take a step and then stand in place for a moment before taking another step. However, techniques can be tailored to suit all abilities.

There are many techniques to choose from and your practitioner will talk you through the most appropriate ones once you have had a brief discussion about your concerns and goals. You will be able to practice the simple techniques at home, if you wish, for maximum efficacy.
