About EFT
Emotional freedom technique – or EFT as it’s commonly known – was founded on the principle that negative emotions disrupt the body’s energy system. The aim of EFT is to release those negative emotions so that they don’t manifest through limiting behaviours or physical / mental symptoms.
The technique is carried out by tapping on various points – namely the face, body and hands. It’s a gentle therapy, very much like acupuncture only without the needles.

What does an EFT session look like?

You’ll be seated and fully clothed during the consultation. The practitioner lightly taps your body’s energy meridians while verbally addressing the emotional difficulty.
Appointments are 90 minutes long, but you’ll be able to learn the basic form so you can practice the therapy at home. Follow-up appointments are usually around an hour and we’ll discuss your progress during those appointments.
