Saw Palmetto is a spiky palm plant native to the United States which gets its name from its sawtooth-shaped leaves. This shrub-like palm produces purple-black berries which have long been used in traditional native American medicine to address a range of male health issues. The berries contain an abundance of nutritionally rich fatty acid sterols, and it is these which are standardised to 45-50% to ensure a consistently effective level of active ingredient inside every capsule.
Traditionally used to support mens health, saw palmetto berry has been shown to support hair growth and maintain the reproductive function.
