Homeopathic medicine is based on the theory of treating like with like. Homoeopathic remedies use highly diluted substances that, if given in higher doses to a healthy person, would produce the symptoms that the dilutions are being given to treat. In assessing their patients, homoeopaths often take into account a range of physical, emotional and lifestyle factors which contribute to the diagnosis.

Homeopathy recognises that symptoms of ill health are our body’s attempts to heal itself. Homeopathy supports the healing process so that it resolves more efficiently. Through a detailed assessment of your current symptoms, lifestyle and medical history an individual homeopathic remedy is prescribed. Remedies work on the principle that “like cures like” and are made from dilute natural substances. It is very safe and can be extremely beneficial in both acute (short term illness - sore throats, fever etc.) and chronic (long term illness - arthritis etc.) conditions.
